Biden embraces gun confiscation

Joe Biden, the Chris Matthews of presidential candidates, made it plain that he will confiscate your guns. Biden announced Beto O'Rourke will head up his gun control efforts.

Fox News reported, "In a surprise moment at the end of his Dallas rally on the eve of Super Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden called former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke up to the stage -- and vowed to put O'Rourke, who has said the government should forcibly seize assault rifles from Americans, in charge of gun-control efforts.

"Also at the rally, Biden accepted the endorsements of onetime rivals Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar, as the Democratic party's moderate wing rallied behind Biden to challenge anti-establishment front runner and self-described democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders."

In October, when O'Rourke was still in the presidential race, NPR reported, "Beto O'Rourke wants to ban and buy back assault-style weapons. Exactly how he would persuade others to get on board is unclear, and two undecided Texas voters recently pressed him on how he would build consensus for his plan and whether it would hold up in conservative courts."

I like how NPR immediately brought in conservative courts -- not the Second Amendment -- as the problem.

The story also said, "'Hell, yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,' O'Rourke said to huge cheers."

NPR said it was unclear how O'Rourke would build a consensus to confiscate guns. 5 months later, the consensus is built. Democrats have declared gun control failed. They moved on to confiscation. The Democrat Establishment candidate has embraced gun confiscation.

Democrats took over the legislature in Virginia in November and put gun confiscation at the top of their Honey Do list.

In less than 6 months, gun confiscation has gone from an outlier opinion of a lightweight snowflake to the mainstream.

At his rally with O'Rourke on Monday, Biden said, "I want to make something clear -- I'm gonna guarantee you, this is not the last you're seeing of this guy -- you're gonna take care of the gun problem with me, you're gonna be the one who leads this effort. I'm counting on you, I'm counting on you, we need you badly."

Meanwhile, Little Big Gulp Bloomberg held a townhall meeting.

One of the townspeople asked Mini Mike, "How do you justify pushing for more gun control when you have an armed security detail that’s likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines that you seek to ban the common citizen from owning? Does your life matter more than mine or my family’s or these peoples?"

The answer was yes.

Mini Mike said, "Look, I probably get 40 or 50 threats every week, OK, and some of them are real. That just happens when you are the mayor of New York City or you are very wealthy, and if you are campaigning for president of the United States you get lots of threats."

He surrounds himself with a posse of police to feel important. The security predated his presidential run.

Mayor Nanny is the financier of gun control. Salt control and of course, Big Gulp control are next.
