New Classes

February 2020

Demo Day was incredibly fun!  We made new friends and maxed out our FREE Make 'n Take supplies.  We had to use alternate papers for card we created so I am showing 2 samples here.....

The stamp is from My Favorite Things.  It's good for Valentine's, Thank You and Appreciation occasions.

Lisa's schedule is really outstanding with lots of fun "artful" classes. If you didn't make it by Saturday, come by to view the classes in person.  They are so much better in person let's get to it!

Ink It, Cube It, Pen It
Thursday, January 30
10:30 am OR 6 pm

I neglected to get this class added to last month's class blog post so here it is.  You'll make these three cards using three different products to create a watercolor look.  The techniques are fun and you'll "enjoy the journey".

Floral Heart Hanger
Thursday, February 6
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Art Journal Saturday
Saturday, February 8
10 am OR 2 pm

Art Journal Saturday is a monthly adventure and it's really fun.  You provide an art journal or paper surface to work on and we provide most of the rest.  This month we'll be exploring an interesting way to create the base layer of color and we'll be doing a little collage and stamping to finish it out.  The lettering?  You don't need to know how to letter and I'll show you the easy way to do it.

Gel Print Fun
Thursday, February 13
10:30 am OR 6 pm

We are always getting requests for another gel printing class and here it is!  In addition to the regular paper we print on, you'll get an assortment of labels in different sizes and shapes to use.  It's so much fun to have your own "artified" stickers - don't you think?  Bring your gel plate and brayer.  If you don't have one, we have a few to share - especially if you haven't gel printed before.

Saturday, February 15
10 am to 5 pm
FREE Make 'n Take
10 am to 3:30 pm

Always more fun than a barrel of monkeys!  Join us for a FREE Make 'n Take and preview the March class schedule.  Bring a friend and share the fun!

Sweet Notes
TUESDAY, February 18
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Jone Hallmark stamps by RubberMoon and watercolor techniques.... what a fabulous combo!  You'll be using Zig Clean Color and Tombow markers to watercolor these sweet stamps.  We'll also be using a couple of shape stamps to create a "shadow" to use as a background.

Thursday, February 18
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Learn a fun way to use common office supplies to create storage for scraps.  You'll create 2 envelopes to fit inside the decorative pocket. You'll watercolor papers to use to embellish the pocket.  So much fun!
