Highlights of the News

Ouch.

ITEM 1: BBC reported, "President Donald Trump has signed a law that will impose sanctions on any firm that helps Russia's state-owned gas company, Gazprom, finish a pipeline into the European Union.

"The sanctions target firms building Nord Stream 2, an undersea pipeline that will allow Russia to increase gas exports to Germany.

"The US considers the project a security risk to Europe. Both Russia and the EU have strongly condemned the US sanctions.

"Congress voted through the measures as part of a defence bill last week and the legislation, which described the pipeline as a tool of coercion, was signed off by Mr Trump on Friday."

Worst puppet ever. Putin should demand a refund.

ITEM 2: The New York Post reported, "By signing the $738 billion Defense Spending Bill, on Friday, President Donald Trump has raised the legal age for smoking to 21 nationwide — news that went largely unnoticed.

"The new rules include cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

"The smoking age hike had bipartisan support in the Senate, and was co-authored by Democrats Brian Schatz and Dick Durbin, and Republicans Mitt Romney and Todd Young, CNN reported."

If they cannot be trusted with smokes, don't let them vote.

ITEM 3Yahoo Finance reported, "President Trump signed a $1.4 trillion spending bill Friday that includes the SECURE Act, a bill introduced this year to help people save for retirement. Among other features, the bill removes the age limit restricting IRA contributions, expands access to annuities in retirement plans, and raises the age at which people need to start taking required minimum withdrawals."

Mandatory withdrawals will begin at 72 instead of 70 1/2.

That's good. Maybe Congress will raise it to infinity before I turn 72. It's my money, and I'll save if I want to.

ITEM 4Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale told Fox News that Google's decision to clamp down on political ads is itself political.

He said, "It is a removal of free speech. It is a voter suppression activity."

And he said, "2016 freaked them out because I used a whole bunch of liberal platforms to do it. I guarantee you, this decision came from another room full of people going, ‘Oh my God, we’ve got to stop them. They're going to win again in a landslide and we can't be part of it.'"

Regulate social media.

I don't want to hear any BS arguments from the fake conservatives in Never Trumpland about big government. We set up government for the express purpose of protecting our God-given rights. Make the government do its job.

ITEM 5: PJ Media reported, "Microsoft Removes Santa Hat Icon After a Single User Complained It Was 'Pushing Religion.'"

Regulating these idiots as a utility would save them from themselves.

ITEM 6: Trending Politics reported, "Radical Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib is currently being probed by The House Ethics Committee for payments she made to herself after she won her election in 2018.

"Candidates are allowed to make a salary from their campaigns until election day, however Tlaib paid herself tens of thousands of dollars after the election in November."

We're gonna indict the MFer.

ITEM 7: PJ Media reported, "Only 98 Turn Out for Biden Town Hall in Iowa; Protester Takes Microphone."

The story said, "The American Mirror estimates from the photo that only 98 people turned out for the town hall event featuring the former vice president. The Des Moines Register published dozens of photos from the event but, all are tightly composed, making assessing the attendance impossible."

I do not care how many people attend a Biden event. What is troublesome is the Fake News tricks used to disguise the low attendance.

ITEM 8: Two more shopping days 'til Christmas.
Which means men can put off shopping for one more day.

ITEM 9Like I said on Saturday night.
The media never fawn over an atheist who denounces Democrats.

ITEM 10: Hillary is peddling another book.

President Tablecloth.

ITEM 11: For an executive building, the White House can be pretty snippy.
That is nice. I like LEDs.

ITEM 12: The self-cannibalization of the Left is fascinating.
They are eating surf and TERF.

ITEM 13: If you do not know why we call the Fourth of July Independence Day, ask them.
American complacency risks our hard-won freedom.

ITEM 14: The new Star Wars movie sold $175,500,000 in tickets in its opening 3 days in Canada and the USA alone.

Matt tries so hard.

ITEM 15: Puzder is CEO of Hardee's.
As Steven Hayward said, "this didn’t happen because of high minimum wage laws in Seattle."

But better and more job opportunities for workers raises the de facto minimum wage.

ITEM 16: Billionaire caves, eh?
Is this how a Democrat slyly rolls out homophobia? Warren is Hillary without as much baggage.

ITEM 17: December 2019.

It is still OK to say Happy Hanukkah anywhere.

I think.
