A leaderless party with no plan

In 2016, Donald John Trump offered the idea of defending our country and putting America First in trade and other dealings with foreigners. Hillary offered the status quo, this time with a woman as the figurehead instead of a black man.

Historians will wonder why the race was even close.

In 2020, President Trump has a solid record of peace and prosperity to run on, while Democrats struggle to offer an idea that connects with Americans. They keep missing.

Rebranding universal health care as "Medicare for All" failed to connect with voters. Forgiving $1.7 trillion in student loan debts has turned off one voter for every debtor forgiven.

Reparations are not making headway among black people who are backing the one candidate who has not yet fallen for this nonsense, Joe Biden.

Gun confiscation also failed, as the failed candidacies of Eric Swalwell and Beto O'Rourke show. Maybe Mini Mike Bloomberg can make it work.

Pete Buttigieg, the token gay in the race, just opened a new frontier: the legalization of meth.

Via Breitbart News, the gay mayor said, "Incarceration should not even be a response to drug possession. What I have seen is while there continues to be all kinds of harms associated with drug possession and use, it is also the case that we have created in an effort to deal with a public health problem, we have created an even bigger problem — a justice problem, and it’s own form of a health problem when you think about the adverse aspects on a child.

"We have kids in South Bend who have grown up with the incarceration of a parent as one of their first experiences. That makes them dramatically more likely to wind up themselves having an encounter with the criminal legal system. So I’ve always been skeptical of mass incarceration, but now I believe more than ever we need to take really significant steps like ending incarceration as a response to simple possession."

The interviewer then asked, "On that is that across the board? So if its meth or coke or ecstasy, any drug if it’s possession incarceration isn’t—"

Buttigieg said, "That’s right."

For a half-century, Democrats argued that pot isn't any worse than booze. Now that they have finally won that argument in some quarters, they have moved on to it is OK to do any drugs, any time, anywhere!

Marijuana turned out to be a gateway drug after all as it will lead to legalizing cocaine. Never mind how this destroys communities and how it will eventually destroy our country. Democrats believe saying they will legalize everything may flip Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin back to blue, and so they say it.

And that is what it is all about: votes. Democrats have no plan outside of destroying anything that is good about America in order to gain power.

Consider the transgendering craze. As entertaining as it is to watch the "It's Ma'am" crowd battle with the feminists, the craze is destroying the lives of thousands of confused and vulnerable teens. We will look back upon this era in shame.

Then there is San Francisco. Just a few years ago, it was a nice if expensive place to live. Sure you had some problem areas, but all cities do.

Democrats decided to turn it into a toilet. The city fathers stopped enforcing basic sanitation laws. People are pooping and shooting drugs in the streets with impunity.

This is their vision of America, a land overrun by illegal aliens and homeless drug abusers.

Which may explain why Democrats have no quality candidate for president. What person of any integrity wants to lead the party of poop? Even Hillary won't run. This is why their leading candidate is Joe Biden, who finished fifth in Iowa in 2008 with less than 1% of the vote. I won't say they are scraping the bottom of the barrel, but they are.
