R.I.P Bobby Cole

From the Facebook page of the NYTPA:

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Bobby Cole passed away this morning from his injuries on the farm last Saturday. It has been a difficult week for his wife Lyn and their sons and their families as well as their close friends. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Bob and Lyn have been pulling in the modified class since 1978 with various set ups through the years adding all three sons along the way to help work on the tractor and cover chores at home. Many friends stepped up through the years and helped in the shop and became part of the Cole family. In his final year this year, he won the first pull of the season at Lowville NY and the last pull at Hebron CT by only a few inches. He finished the season with 4 wins, 5 2nds and 1 3rd place finishes. These stats would have been even more impressive but a hauler breakdown and work on the farm kept them away from a few pulls.
Bob was one of the original guys that came up through the ranks building what he could afford to run and trying to improve each year. And made many life long pulling friends along the way as well as many good friends in his community. The Bandit crew was always friendly and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and Bobby led the way with his big smile and grin and his signature Pink Bandit Hat and a life well lived!!
There will be a huge gap in the NYTPA family. We will post the arrangements as soon as we receive them. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Full Pull Bobby. Full Pull.

The whole team also wishes the whole family a lot of strength to cope with this terrible loss.
