Kushner will get the wall built

Michelle Malkin is entitled to her belief, but she is wrong. Indulge me.

The Hill reported, "President Trump has put his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in charge of overseeing the construction of the border wall, The Washington Post reported Monday.

"Current and former administration officials told the Post that Kushner has taken the lead on the wall construction project, holding biweekly meetings covering the progress of the wall, contractor data, the location of the wall and how funding is being used.

"Kushner is reportedly pressuring U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to speed up the process of obtaining private land along the U.S.-Mexico border to build the wall.

"The president’s son-in-law is reportedly pushing to get 450 miles of barriers along the border finished before the 2020 election. Officials told the Post that more than 800 filings to seize private property need to be made to make that happen."

Absent a denial from President Donald John Trump, I will accept this allegation by Jeff Bezos's Washington Post as a reasonable enough facsimile of the truth so as to opine. I call it quantum journalism.

I understand Malkin's pessimism. Kushner is considered soft on immigration, which oddly is the main reason I think he will get it done.

And yes, he can get it done.

The Post threw shade on Kushner's ability. Remember, the Jeff Bezos Toy's slogan is democracy dies in darkness, and it has become the dark lord of democracy.

Breitbart News reported, "The task matches Kushner’s experience as a New York builder and his familiarity with the lawsuits needed to clear away obstacles to construction."

Kushner is soft on immigration, true, but he realizes President Trump will not do anything on amnesty until the wall is built.

With 76 miles of wall already sealing off the easiest paths to border jumping, and another 450 or so miles to be constructed by Election Day, decisions on what to do about illegal aliens living in America can be made.

I oppose amnesty. But while we have fought amnesty for 10 years, the border jumping increased.

Build the wall -- or enough of it to significantly shutter the human trafficking -- and the number of illegal aliens living in the USA will stop rising, and will fall.
